Actually went shopping today, and the first time I think In Japan I found a pair of shorts that fitted, and XL was actually loose around the waist. L size fitted OK but a wasn't much room to move. So I went with the L's hoping that they will fit nice within a few more weeks.
This worries me a bit specifically with my work shirts and suits, could be up for a big bill at the end of this 90 days if the current trends continue. Nothing worse than seeing someone swimming in their clothes, makes it look like they were big brother hand me downs, and I was already somewhat approaching this with the weight I had lost since December.
Lets see what happens but I think I will hang on until the end of the 90 days a least before heading out clothes shopping again!
Flickr link is up and running....
I lost a load of weight last year and found that I needed to go down sizes as I went along. Just a little bit, to affirm the progress. It wasn't just to do with how others saw me, but how I saw (and see) myself.
ReplyDeleteConsider buying one or two, slightly cheaper, but better fitting garments that are specifically 'interim'. Maybe go to an outlet store or buy cheaper with the mindset of passing them on yourself.
I recently threw out a pair of jeans that I loved because the waistband and back was way to big. It hurt to do this at the time, but I do love sliding into the one pair I kept and that DO fit me.
Looking forward to your pictures!
Got your Flickr up finally, sorry for the delay! DO NOT buy any clothes until this is all over with. People who get fed up and buy stuff around Day 50 ultimately have to go shopping all over again!
